Booking Procedure
Booking in Advance
We ask you to book three months before the trip if you plan to go on an adventure with Ghumgham Pvt. Ltd. A three month planning period lets us arrange permits, guides and stays, and keeps every trip safe and well prepared.
Last Hour Booking
The latest you can book a trip is one month before the departure date. We reserve the right to confirm the booking based on how full the group is. There is no extra charge for a last hour booking, but full payment is needed once the booking is confirmed.
Payment Procedure
Once you have decided to travel with Ghumgham, please make your reservation with us as early as possible, and at least one month before the fixed departure date you have chosen. This gives us enough time to organise the trip, prepare the documents and book your stays. The payments below secure your place on the trip.

Insurance and Travel Risks
Under government rules, foreigners cannot buy travel insurance in Nepal, so please get a travel insurance plan in your own country before you arrive. Treks and expeditions carry risks such as altitude sickness and natural events, so your insurance should cover helicopter rescue, trip cancellation and personal accidents.
To make sure the right steps are taken if something unexpected happens, we will ask for your personal and insurance details before the trip. If a rescue is needed, our team will contact the right companies and handle the paperwork.
Please note that if your insurance does not cover some or all parts of the trip, the company is not responsible for any losses and cannot pay compensation.
Flight Delay and Cancellation
The weather in the mountains can change quickly, and it is the main reason flights and helicopters are delayed or cancelled, especially in the Everest, Annapurna, Manaslu and Langtang regions. Technical problems in remote areas can also cause delays. If a return flight is delayed, you are responsible for the extra costs such as meals and stays. If you choose another option, such as a helicopter flight, to avoid the delay, you are responsible for that cost too.
Ghumgham is not responsible for extra costs caused by a missed international flight, but we will always help you arrange other options wherever we can. Please be aware that things out of our control may mean we need to change the trip schedule.
